Fundraising for a better tomorrow
Your donations go directly to helping fund our innovative and life changing programming created by and for our community. This is what your reoccurring donation will help fund:
Our Food Pantry who over the past two years has served over 30,800 families with an average 400 families a week.
Our Pantry staff is one of the most dedicated groups of individuals you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting. All members of our local community, they understand the needs of those who are coming through and treat each and every person like an extended member of the family.
Our clinical program who have provided over 3,500 free or low cost therapy sessions over the past two years.
A lack of financial security shouldn’t mean a lack of access to affordable care. We have grants available to help those unable to pay if they meet certain criteria. At the Center we believe that mental health care should be available for all LGBTQIA+ or Ally alike.
Our therapy is LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed care (including EMDR).
Our newly formed Intergenerational Rainbow Link (IRL) program, a combination of three previous programs, has offered over 2500 events to our local community for all ages over the past five years, the majority free of charge, offered over 480 peer support groups over the past year, and creates monthly programming for all ages.
Our Healing Arts Program integrates Traditional Culturally-Specific Healing Rituals and healing modalities that can be used alongside therapy or on their own.
Our workshops have included aromatherapy, sound baths, sweat lodges, chocolate, writing workshops, and inner child work to name a few. To date we’ve held over 52 workshops all from local healing arts workers. This program also provides a podcast, “Healing Arts from the Borderland” available on all streaming platforms.
Our Diversity and Resiliency Institute Education of El Paso (DRIEP) program has trained people and institutions all over the world.
We have trained academic institutions, governmental offices, national offices, other non profits and many, many professionals. Our client list includes Harvard, Georgetown, El Paso Electric, The City of El Paso, the General Consulate of Canada, Burning Man, and many more. DRIEP trained upwards of 60,000 people to date.
And this is only the beginning, our plans are to create a series of programming that touches on financial stability and education, how to open your bank account, how to apply for financial aid, how to open your own business, how to develop healthy relationships with yourself, your family, your friends, your partner, and your work, and much, much more.
With this, we invite you to become a part of our journey.
